The Sims 3 download for Windows

What you should have:
uTorrent

When you’re done waiting hours and hours of downloading, go to your downloader, go to the file, and right click > Open containing folder (unless you already know where it is, it’s just faster). When you have it open, you should see The Sims 3 with a cd icon. The use of the PowerISO, is to pretend your computer/laptop has The Sims 3 cd in it, or The Sims will not run because when there isn’t a game cd, which is why we need PowerISO.

You are going to right click on The Sims 3, scroll down until you see “Mount image to Drive E:, or in my case, you have to scroll down to PowerISO then “Mount image to Drive E:.
After you’ve mounted the game, you now double click The Sims 3, where PowerISO should open up with an extra pop up asking you to Order Online, Enter registration code or Continue unregistered. Click > Continued unregistered.

Then in PowerISO, there should be all the contents of the The Sims 3 “cd”. Find Sims3setup.exe, and double click it. This will act like you just put a cd in your laptop/computer, and you will start installing the Sims.

The installer will ask you for a registration code. I googled: The Sims 3 registration code and found: Gj99-vx9z-p4wc-fp4u-grld. It worked for me, but if it doesn’t work for you, just Google what I googled, and you should be able to find a code that’ll work for you.

After you’re done installing, you should be able to just go to Program Files > wherever you decided to install the Sims 3 and you should be able to play. 

The Sims 3 main menu should pop up, and this is where you click the big play button to start playing. (:

Important note: DO NOT DELETE the downloaded Sims file with the CD icon. You should move it to the Sims 3 folder where the game is, or anywhere safe so you don’t accidentally delete it. You need that file in order to play The Sims 3. It’s your “cd” for the game. You will need to right click and mount it everytime you want to play, if it’s not mounted in your Drive: E. You just need to mount, and then just go to Program Files for the game. No need to run the setup/installer again or anything.
